Loki. The Hemet Says It All - D Strick - Birmingham, AL
Loki. Typically depicted as a god of mischief and a constant thorn is Thor's side, he can be quite a handful.

His sculpt is interesting with large curving horns giving his helm an engaging appearance. They've gone with the older wizened look to his face. I may have preferred a younger more mischievous look to him but the older face is fine and does give him a tougher appearance. He has a yellow and green color scheme with a patchwork brown cape. Loki sports a fairly full set of articulation however his hands are sculpted to only be able to hold his accessory. The one I have does have some loose leg joints that make him a challenge to stand but this may not affect all figures and because of ML's large articulation count you can almost always work it out. His clothing does restrict his movement somewhat.

His accessories include a comic, a VS card; you can use the card board back as a backdrop if you want using an included stand and the right arm of the build a figure, Onslaught. Loki also has a pretty cool sword with ancient "Norse" markings engraved on it that he can use to mix it up with Thor and it looks pretty cool. His hands are both sculpted to hold this but he only has the one sword. His helm is not removable.

Onslaught himself is a bit of an unusual cat. A kind of solid projection of Professor X's bad side combined with a bit of Magneto and taken a life of its own he was bad news for a while. Not sure if he was really that popular a villain though, although he did set some heavy events into motion. The figure is not the giant build a figure (BAF) we're used to from past series and is more in scale with the regular big figures like Abomination. However, he is really massive, as in heavy and bigger than most any regular figure but don't expect a giant. He comes up to about Apocalypse's waist. He is really detailed too though and has tons of articulation so is a cool figure and they went all out on the sculpt. Still, it would have been neat to see him in a bit of a bigger size.
